Lolita Fashion Wardrobe 2021
In der internationalen Lolita-Fashion-Community ist der Januar traditionell der Monat, um die eigene Lolita-Garderobe mit der Öffentlichkeit zu teilen. Das begann damals auf der EGL-Plattform auf Livejournal, aber da diese Plattform langsam aber sicher ausstirbt, wurde eine Gruppe auf FB gegründet (ob diese Seite noch lange Bestand hat, steht in den Sternen). Ich verfolge diese Gruppe und nach etlichen Postings mit tollen Sammlungen, dachte ich mir, dass ich vielleicht auch meine Kleider zeigen sollte. Mein letzter und erster Wardrobe-Beitrag ist nämlich schon sechs Jahre her, das war in 2015! Die meisten Bilder von diesem alten Beitrag werde ich wieder verwenden können, da ich doch viele alte Exemplare noch besitze. Von vielen habe ich mich aber getrennt und viele andere sind dazugekommen, da mein Stil sich doch geändert hat. Die Kleider sind chronologisch sortiert. Diesen Beitrag werde ich zweisprachig aufziehen, da die besagte Wardrobe-Gruppe international ist.
January is usually the time for beautiful wardrobe posts in the internatioal lolita fashion community. In the past the posts were mostly on egl-Livejournal but a new group was founded on Facebook. Watching all the great collections got me in the mood, to show mine as well! My last and first wardrobe post was actually in 2015! After six years my style has changed a lot and many dresses are gone but I regularly added new ones over time. The dresses are in chronological order and the pictures are from older posts. English is neither my native tongue nor the second language I learned, so please overlook my mistakes!
2007
Als Studentin hatte ich fast nur genähte Kleidung getragen, da ich mir die Markensachen nicht leisten konnte und die Bezugsquellen auch rar gesät waren. Mein Ziel war es gewesen, möglichst vielseitige Stücke zu nähen, die mit anderen Teilen zu verschiedenen Coords kombiniert werden können. Daher hatte ich eher Röcke und Oberteile anstelle von vielen Kleidern.
I mostly sew my dresses with a few exception here and there. When I began with this street fashion I was a poor student and couldn`t afford brand clothing. Additionally there were just 1-2 opportunities to buy them. My main focus was to achieved versatile clothes with differents coords just by adding items and accessory. Therefore I had more skirts and blouses and less dresses at the beginning.
Oldschool Schoolgirl JSK
Im Stoff sind kleine Rosen eingewebt, wie es bei Jacquard üblich ist. Das Kleid müsste mein allererster selbst genähter sein, wenn ich mich richtig erinnere … mit vielen Fehlern, aber mit hohem emotionalen Wert.
In the fabric are little woven roses (kind of like jacquard). This is actually me first self made dress, if I remember correctly. With many mistakes but the emotional worth is priceless.
Frill Pintuck Skirt
Der Rockschnitt stammt ursprünglich aus einem der älteren Gothic & Lolita Bibles, aber ich habe nach und nach einiges daran geändert wie etwa Rüschen und Biesen. Außerdem ist die Bluse ebenfalls selbst genäht.
The pattern of the skirt is acutally from one of the older Gothic & Lolita Bibles, but I changed it a few times and added ruffles and pintucks for example. The blouse is also self made.
2008-2009
In 2008-2009 hatte ich mehr mit Printstoffen herumprobiert und auch schwierige Textilien wie Chiffon genäht.

Black Chiffon Skirt
Ich weiß leider nicht, wann ich diesen Rock genäht habe, aber ich denke, es müsste in 2008 gewesen sein. Das Korsett ist auch selbstgenäht (dreimal umgenäht).
I don’t know excatly when I made this skirt, so I just assumed it must be in 2008. The corset is also self made (re-made three times).
Black and White Bustle Skirt and Corset
Dieses Outfit war für die Gala Nocturna in 2009 gewesen! Ich liebe nach wie vor den Look von der Kombo, aber leider hatte ich sie bisher nur dieses eine Mal getragen.
The outfit was made for the Gala Nocturna event in 2009 (huge Gothic/historical fashion ball)! I still love the look of this combo but I sadly only wore it once until now.
Steampunk Skirt and Shrug
In 2009 war Steampunk eine große Trendbewegung in der deutschen Lolita-Community und ich wollte beides miteinander vermischen. Vom Shrug gibt es übrigens eine Nähanleitung.
In 2009 Steampunk was a huge trend in the german Lolita community and I tried to mix both fashion style together. BTW … I made a sewing tutorial for the shrug (german only).
Pearl Tartan JSK
Das Tartankleid ist nach wie vor toll und ich liebe die Farbkombi (Blau und Grün). Aber wahrscheinlich werde ich demnächst die Rückenschleife abtrennen, weil es nicht mehr mein Stil ist.
The tartan dress is very lovely and I like the colors a lot (blue and green). Maybe I’ll cut off the back bow, because it isn’t my style anymore.
2010
Goth Punk JSK
Das Kleid ist eigentlich von einem Laufstegmodell aus einem Magazin inspiriert gewesen und ich dachte mir “Warum nicht?”. Ich mag nach wie vor die unüblichen Elemente und den asymmetrischen Schnitt.
The dress was inspired by a runway dress I saw in a fashion magazine and I thought why not? I like the unusual elements on the dress and the asymmetric cut.
2011
In diesem Jahr gab es eine Premiere: Ich kaufte das erste Brand-Kleid!

Das Kleid hatte ich secondhand auf Livejournal gekauft, um es für das Interview mit Btssb Chef Akinori Isobe und Chefdesignerin Kumiko Uehara zu tragen, das ich damals für die deutsche Lolita-Community Dunkelsüß geführt hatte.
I bought the dress on the secondhand market on Livejournal and it was for the interview with the Btssb chief Akinori Isobe and the head designer Kumiko Uehara, which I conducted for the german lolita community Dunkelsuess.
Black and White Stripe Skirt
Ich wollte einen simplen Rock haben, der zum gekauften Pullover passt und mit Hosenträgern kombiniert werden kann!
I wanted a simple casual skirt, which match with the pullover I bought online, and it should go well with suspenders!
2012-2013
In diesem Zeitraum fand ich die weniger bekannten Lolita-Substile für mich: Wa Lolita und Pirate Lolita.
Both years was the time for the minor substyles of Lolita. I made one Wa Lolita and one Pirate Lolita Outfit!
Walking with the Maikos JSK
Ich fand den Stoff auf dem Stoffmarkt Holland, aber ich war lange am überlegen, ob ich ihn kaufen sollte, da er 20 Euro pro Meter kostete! Aber am Ende überwand ich mich doch und kaufe 2 Meter ein, um dieses schöne Kleid zu nähen.
I found the fabric at a fabric market, but it was so expensive (20 Euro per meter)! But at the end I bought 2 meter and made this wonderful dress.
Moon Night Theater JSK by Angelic Pretty
Eins meiner wenigen Traumkleider, die ich tatsächlich auch gekauft habe. Nach zwei Jahren des Suchens war es endlich meins!

Journey to OZ JSK
Ohne die Accessoires und dem Dreispitz schaut das Kleid nicht gerade nach einem Pirate Lolita Outfit aus. Auf dem Stoff sind übrigens Elemente und Motive aus dem Zauberer aus OZ-Film bzw. -Buch, daher kommt der Name. Wenn ich die Muse habe, es zu verbessern, würde ich das Shirring verändern. Es ist ein Tick zu schmal und die Schnürung zu groß
Without the accessory and the tricorn the dress looks quite normal and not like Pirate Lolita. The print on the skirt shows element and motives from the Wizard of OZ book/movie therefore the name! If I have the desire to change it, I would alter the shirring. It’s a little bit too small and the lacing is a bit to big.
2014
Masked Party JSK
Ich wollte unbedingt einen zweiten Punk Lolita-Outfit haben und Inspiration waren die Outfits auf den Straßen Harajukus mit wilden Prints und starken Kontrasten. Sollte ich das wieder tragen wollen (hatte es nur einmal angehabt), werde ich wahrscheinlich den Rock ändern. Die tanzenden Tierfiguren auf dem Stoff tragen alle Masken, daher der Name.
I wanted a second Punk Lolita dress and my inspiration were the wild outfits on the Harajuku streets with clashing prints and bold contrast! I probadly would alter the skirt, before I wear it again someday (worn only once). The dancing animals on the print are wearing masks, therefore the name.
Oldschool OP
Das Highlight vom Oldschool OP ist die Rosenspitze am Rocksaum und ich wollte mal probieren, einen runden Einsatz zu nähen.
The Highlight of the Oldschool OP is the beautiful rose lace trim on the skirt and I wanted to try sewing a bib (Is this the right name? It’s the white part at the collar).
British Noble Emblem JSK by Innocent World
Das Kleid war im Sale gewesen und ich wollte es haben, da es sehr bequem und leicht aussah – perfekt für den Sommer! Und die Gold-Bordeaux-Kombo ist so schön.
The dress was on sale and I bought it because it looks comfy and very light, perfekt for summer! And the gold burgundy color combo is really beautiful.
2015
Bis jetzt waren alle gezeigten Kleider ebenfalls Bestandteil des Wardrobe-Beitrags aus 2015 (außer die, die ich nicht mehr trage).
Until now the dresses were also part of the wardrobe post in 2015 (except the ones I dimissed).
Herold OP
Ich wollte unbedingt ein eher festliches Outfit für den Winter haben und es sollte zu einer blauen Hasenbrosche passen, die ich geschenkt bekommen habe. Eine Inspirationsquelle war der Weiße Hase aus Alice im Wunderland, aber eher seine Rolle als Herold. Aktuell überlege ich, das Kleid aus Chiffon etc. nachzunähen, weil das Bügeln sehr mühsam.
I wanted a festive winter dress and it should match a rabbit brooch, which was gifted to me. My inspiration was a little bit the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, but not literally … more his role as a herald (in german Herold). I’m thinking of re-sewing the dress with chiffon etc. because ironing is so annoying.
Mistress of the Bats JSK
Natürlich ist das mein perfektes Halloween-Kleid. Ich hatte ewig nach dem perfekten Stoff gesucht, bis ich diesen Fledermaus-Print gefunden hatte. Der Kurz-Lang-Schnitt des Rocks war übrigens ein Experiment von mir gewesen.
Well .. this is my perfect Halloween Dress and I search really hard to find this gorgeous bat print! The high-low cut of the black skirt part is a design experiment I tried.
2016
Ich hatte schwarzen Stoff übrig und suchte nach neuen Schnitten zum Ausprobieren. Zum Glück fand ich ein Kleid mit asymmetrischen Rock und tiefem Halsausschnitt als Inspiration.
I had leftover black fabric and I wanted a new designs to try out. Luckily I found an interesting dress online as inspiration … love the cut of the skirt and the low neck opening.
Lady Grey OP
Das ist mein erstes Kleid, das komplett aus Chiffon genäht ist (bisher hatte ich nur Röcke oder Blusen daraus gemacht). Es war nicht alles einfach gewesen und ich musste auch mal aufmachen, um Sachen zu verbessern. Aber im Ganzen bin ich stolz darauf und ich mag das Ergebnis.
This is my first attempt so sew a full dress with chiffon (until now I only made skirts and blouses). It was not easy and I had to open it to improve a few parts but I’m really proud and like the outcome!
2017
Playinc Cards Gobeling JSK by Innocent World
Ich bin ein Fan von Alice im Wunderland und ich hatte schon von Anfang an diese Kleiderserie von IW gemocht. Als sie dann auch noch im Sale waren, musste ich zuschlagen. Meine Wahl fiel auf die Neckholder-Version, weil der Kragen mir so gefiel.
I’m a fan of Alice in Wonderland and like the design of those dresses from the beginning. When they were in sale I had to buy one of them! I chose the Neckholder version because the collar is just beautiful.
Apple Blossom JSK by LIEF
Das ist mein erstes Markenkleid, das nicht aus Japan kommt! Ich liebe einfach den Print, das Thema und den Schnitt. Das ist der zweite Release und ich bin froh, ihn zu haben. Die Stoffqualität vom ersten ist viel schlechter als von diesem. (Ich dachte, ich hätte Puppenbilder, aber falsch gelegen. Ihr müsst leider mit einem Flat Lay auskommen.)
This is my first brand dress which is not from Japan! I love the print, the theme and the simple cut of the dress! This is the second release and I’m happy I got this, the fabric quality is much better than the first release. (I thought I had pictures of it on a mannequin but I was wrong. So bear it with the flat lay.)

Ich wollte einen blauen Sommerkleid haben und fand in einem Geschäft diesen dunkelblauen Musslinstoff mit kleinen Punkten. Die Highlights hier sind die Raglanärmel und die gekreuzten Bänder am Hals.
I wanted a light blue dress for summer and found this beautiful navy muslin with little dots in a local shop. The highlights are the sleeves and the crossing ribbons at the neck.
2018
Noir JSK
Es war eine ziemlich spontane Idee, ein Kleid wenige Wochen vor der Convention anzufertigen. Das 2-Way-JSK von Moitie ist die Inspirationsquelle für das Design und das Kleid habe ich tatsächlich in einem Wochenende geschafft.
It was a spontaneous idea to sew a simple dress for a convention … just a few weeks before! The 2-Way-JSK by Moitie was the inspiration for the design and I really made it in just one weekend.
Sapphire OP
In 2018 war ich vernarrt in Blau gewesen und nähte insgesamt zwei Kleider in dieser Farbe. Das hier ist aus einem Satinstoff mit leichtem Glanz. Das Highlight ist natürlich die geraffte Halspartie!
In 2018 I was really fond of the color Blue and made two dresses in this shade. This one is a satin fabric with light sheen. The highlight is obviously the ruffled neck part!
2019
Tsuru JSK
Tsuru ist Japanisch für Kranich, das Hauptmotiv vom wunderschönen Kimonostoff! Zu der Zeit war ich Fan von Metamorphoses Wa Lolita Kleidern und wollte so ein Wa Kleid auch besitzen. Der Obi-Gürtel ist abnehmbar.
Tsuru is japanese for crane, the main motive of this gorgeous kimono textile! I was hooked on the design of Metamorphose’s Wa Lolita dresses and wanted it for myself as well. The obi belt ist detachable.
Spirit Board JSK by Lady Sloth
Ich war sofort vom Oujia-Print begeistert gewesen und hab dieses Modell von Lady Sloth ohne Bedenken gekauft. Es ist sehr bequem und vor allem knitterfrei!
I was immediately impressed by the Oujia Print and purchased the dress by Lady Sloth without hesitation. It’s very comfy and especially crease-free.
2020

Das Kleid fand ich auf einem Bring&Buy-Event in Köln und ich musste es einfach mitnehmen. Ich mag die Farbkombi, das Zirkusthema und den Schnitt davon!
I found this dress on a Bring and Buy Event in Cologne and I couldn’t left without it. I really like the color combo, the circus theme and the cut of it!
Military JSK
Endlich sind wir beim letzten Outfit angekommen! Das ist das neueste mit Military Lolita-Thema, wie man erkennen kann. Nach so vielen Jahren hatte ich wieder einen Rock angefertigt, das war eine nette Abwechslung.
Finally the last dress! This is my newest one with Military Lolita Theme as you can see. After so many years I finally made a skirt again, which was a nice change.
Resümee / summary
Insgesamt sind 28 Outfits aufgelistet, die ich über 14 Jahre genäht oder gekauft habe. Aber das ist eigentlich nicht ALLES! Ich habe z. B. meine langen EGA-Kleider (Moitie und selbstgemacht) außen vor gelassen, Outfits, die ich eher nicht mehr tragen werde und etliche mehr, die ich weggeschmissen oder verkauft habe. Demnach sollte meine Gesamtzahl eher um die 40 und mehr sein. Ebenfalls fehlen meine Blusen, Jacken, Schuhe, Taschen, Kopfschmuck, Accessoires, Schmuck usw. Das würde einfach den Rahmen sprengen, euch alles zu zeigen!
Well I posted 28 different outfits, which I made/bought over 14 years! BUT I only posted the ones I still own or wear. There are still a few left like my two long EGA dresses (Moitie and self made), old outfits I probadly won’t wear again and a lot more I just threw away or sold. So my count should be around 40 pieces and more. I also left out my blouses, jackets, shoes, bags, headpieces, accessory and so on … it would go beyond the scope to show everything!
